The APTA oversees 275+ tournaments a season. We rely on tournament directors for much of the heavy lifting but provide support and resources for every type and size of event.
Tournament Resources and Draw Library
League/Local/Fundraiser Tournaments These may be any size and format. See the Draw Library below to help with odd numbers, etc. If you are running your event on Paddlescores for the first time, watch this video .
PTI Tournaments A Platform Tennis Index (PTI)-based tournament creates equalized competition within playing levels (i.e., 30+), as each player must meet the PTI threshold to compete. Clubs and leagues are welcome and encouraged to run PTI events. The APTA oversees all PTI National Championships.
NRT Tournaments National Ranking Tournaments (NRTs) are events where players earn National Ranking points, which are needed to qualify for Nationals and the most competitive tournaments. NRTs–both APTA Tour and non-Tour events–have specific rules for entry and the seeding process.
APTA Tour Events APTA Tour events are chosen each year by the National Tournament Committee after careful consideration. They range in size from 16 to 64 teams, offer prize money, count toward the APTA Cup, and typically include Live Streaming coverage on the APTA YouTube channel.
