Juniors are the Future of the Sport

Get kids on the courts and watch them fall in love with the game. The APTA Junior program provides playing opportunities to youths of all ages and abilities, encouraging a lifelong interest in the sport of platform tennis. Over 380 juniors are APTA members and every year anywhere from 200 to 300 players compete at Junior Nationals.

Junior Tour

Junior Tour events offer young players an opportunity to compete and earn ranking points. (Looks great on college applications.) Tour events are held in Chicago, Philadelphia, New Jersey, Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Toronto, with more growth in the works. Junior Nationals is the ultimate goal. Junior Nationals 

Every year, the APTA hosts a one-day tournament inviting boys and girls from around the country to compete in their age group. All levels and all ages from 8 & Under to 18 & Under meet, eat, and compete, with a focus on sportsmanship and camaraderie. Medals are awarded to the winners and finalists of each age group. In recent years the semifinals and final matches have been Live Streamed, umpired, and played in front of a huge crowd of fans, parents, and “retired” players. It is THE Junior event of the season.
