Having played racquet sports since she was 4, Bea Lopez loves the paddle community and knows how to have fun at any level tournament.

Facts

Hometown: Murcia, Spain

Tennis: Columbus State University, Columbus, Georgia

Paddle: Racquets Professional at Orange Lawn Tennis Club, and Director of Junior Development. I started playing paddle in the fall of 2022 when I began teaching. 

Favorite Moment: So far, with my partner Tea Pejic, when we beat Lynn and Macie. We really enjoyed it a lot.

Strengths: My forehand drive, especially when I set myself up. Also, driving off the screens.

Tournament Time: You disconnect from work for the weekend, have some fun after the tournament, party a little bit. My favorite tournament is Short Hills since the members of my club come out and watch.

Secret Sauce: If you don't enjoy it, I don't think you are going to be successful.

Bonus Fact: I met Alvi Regalado, my boyfriend, when we were just 8 years old and became national champions in Spain in Boys and Girls 10U. We ended up at the same school in the U.S.
