In the 2024–25 season, the APTA awarded $103,000 in grants and loans to support the construction and rehabilitation of nine courts at four facilities in Michigan, Illinois, and Connecticut. Since 2006, over $1 million has been awarded through the program, improving access to platform tennis nationwide across 73 projects.

More and more players are picking up paddles and joining the vibrant platform tennis community. As the sport continues to grow, so does the demand for quality courts and public-access facilities. The APTA’s Grants & Loans program plays a critical role in fueling this growth by helping communities build and improve their platform tennis infrastructure.

This past season, the committee awarded $103,000 in grants and loans across 4 projects in support of the construction and rehabilitation of 9 courts and other facility enhancements.
