Tournament Director Logan Moore writes: "October 25th, 2024, could not have been a better day. Crystal blue skies, the waning gibbous moon reflecting the sunshine, and a cool 66 degrees provided the perfect ambiance for a paddle tournament. Sixteen ladies' teams (with one unfortunate last-minute drop out) journeyed to Dupont Country Club in Wilmington, Delaware, to compete in the Ladies Wilmington Fall Classic PTI 55+ tournament. The day was filled with great camaraderie, distant mutual connections being made, and extremely competitive matches that displayed very impressive feats of athleticism, including a hard-hit ball let through the legs for a back screen lob winner, Immaculate digs, drop shots, rocket blitzing drives, and even fireball shots taken upon victory. It is safe to say the day was perfect, especially for the defending champions, Stacey Caroll and Kelly Feenan, who held onto their crown, defeating a tough Baltimore pairing of Candace Marshall and Alice Margraff. Congratulations to an excellent day ladies! I hope many of you will return next year for another great tournament. Best of luck in your individual seasons!"
