Entry Qualifications: To be eligible, both players must have a PTI of 10 or higher and the combined PTI must be less than 40.
Entry Selection: All teams will register on the waitlist. Once eligibility is confirmed, teams will be notified and moved into the tournament.
Eligibility Requirements: In order to be eligible to participate in Team or PTI Nationals, ALL players must have active and accurate PTI’s (which is generally achieved by playing in at least 8 rated matches in the past year).
Those players who have fewer than 8 rated matches in the last twelve months may request an exception from the PTI Nationals committee.
Format: For 1-day tournaments (with a draw size greater than eight teams), the following shortened match format should be used for all PTI Nationals:
no-ad / double deuce scoring; (deciding point on second deuce, server's choice)
third set 10-point match tiebreaker for all matches except finals
2 out of 3 set regular scoring for the finals.
For 2-day tournaments: 2 out of 3 sets regular scoring for all matches.
Wild Cards: All National Ranking Tournaments (NRT) and PTI level Tournaments are subject to wild card spots, with a wild card available for every 16 teams allowed in a draw. A wild card team must be registered for the tournament by the registration deadline and must be approved by the National Tournament Committee. Wild card requests may come from tournament directors, the APTA, or players themselves, and should be requested prior to the close of registration. If no wild card spots are used, the draw will be filled out by the next eligible team/s.

Favor: Xenon Slide-Players must submit shoe size before November 4, 2025 to receive favor the day of the tournament.
APTA Membership: All players must be APTA members, and membership must be purchased before entry.
Rules: Official APTA rules will govern play.

Tournament Director Chip Leveroni writes: Gloomy skies and intermittent sprinkles could not put a damper on an intimate but fiercely competitive APTA Men's PTI 10+ Championship. Just after a hard-fought, moment-shifting battle, as match point ended, the sun broke through and shone on our champions Daniel Lineberry and Jordy Visser, who defeated top-seeded lefty duo of Marshall Chapin and Josh Graves, 7-6 (4),1-6, 6-4. (Should I mention that Lineberry & Visser were serving for the match at 5-1 in the 3rd?)

These two young men do a lot to help support and grow our beloved game here on Boston’s North Shore - Congratulations!

The rest of the draws were also fiercely competitive with multiple three set matches and tiebreakers.

Semi reprieve action: Nantucket’s Cam Murphy and Cooper Veysey topped Patrick Dempsey and Kwame Patrick, 6-4, 6-1.

Consolation action: CAPT’s Jack Bishop and Joe Maher defeated the other Nantucket duo of John Brescher and Henry Fee, 3-6, 6-4, 6-4.

Consolation Reprieve action: Zack Goodstein and Nick Vance prevailed over CAPT’s own John Donnally and Justin McCabe, 4-6, 6-4, 6-2.

This was the kind of competition that we hoped for and certainly got in a PTI Championship.
