- Entry Qualifications
- Entry based on combined individual NRT points as of the Monday prior to the tournament. ALL WOMEN'S TOUR & CHALLENGER TEAMS REGISTER FROM THE WOMEN'S TOUR PAGE.
- Entry Selection
- All teams for Tour and Challenger Draws will be registered/waitlisted in one pool of teams. The anticipated draw size for the Women's Tour is 16 and the anticipated draw size of the Challenger 1 will be 8 teams and Challenger 2 an additional 8 teams. All teams who do not qualify for Tour Draw based on combined NRT points will remain on the waitlist and then placed in the Challenger 1 or 2 Draws in groups of 4 to avoid uneven draw sizes. Placement will be determined by combined NRT points. When the number of teams on the waitlist exceeds the number of available spots and there is a tie in ranking (either matching NRT points or no NRT points) for the last available spot or spots, the team(s) with the lowest combined PTI will be moved into the tournament. All teams will be notified of entry status on Monday, September 28th. Seeding for the Tour draw will be by NRT points, seeding for the Challenger draws will be by PTI.
- Wild Cards
- All National Ranking Tournaments (NRT) and PTI level Tournaments are subject to wild card spots, with a wild card available for every 16 teams allowed in a draw. A wild card team must be registered for the tournament by the registration deadline and must be approved by the National Tournament Committee. Wild card requests may come from tournament directors, the APTA, or players themselves, and should be requested prior to the close of registration. If no wild card spots are used, the draw will be filled out by the next eligible team/s.
- Format
- All main and back draw matches will be 2 out of 3 sets with regular scoring, using a 10-point match tie breaker in lieu of the third set.
