Entry based on combined individual NRT points as of the Monday prior to the tournament.
Entry Selection
The anticipated draw size for the Grand Prix is 32 teams. All teams will be placed on a waitlist, then moved into the draw based on combined individual NRT points. All teams will be notified of entry status on Monday, February 15th. Seeding for the Grand Prix draw will be by NRT points.
Wild Cards
All tournaments are subject to wild card spots, with a wild card available for every 16 teams allowed in a draw. A wild card team must be registered for the tournament by the registration deadline and must be approved by the National Tournament Committee. Wild card requests may come from tournament directors, the APTA, or players themselves, and should be requested prior to the close of registration. If no wild card spots are used, the draw will be filled out by the next eligible team/s.
Format
All main draw matches will be 2 out of 3 sets with regular scoring. All back draw matches will be played with a 10-point match tie breaker in lieu of the third set.
