Paddle CareerWhen I first moved to the area, I needed to make money to play some pro tennis. I had my first job at Wilmington Country Club. I’d seen paddle courts before in New York, but I had no idea what it was. The head pro needed people to play for the Thursday night men’s league. I grabbed a paddle off the shelf, a blue one, and that’s how I started playing.
Favorite Paddle MemoryLast year was my first time playing on the APTA Tour and the whole experience was unbelievable. But the experience at Philly Nationals was surreal—the Philly crowd, just everything was something else.
Favorite Part of PaddleHonestly, it gives me an outlet to just compete. I play a lot of tennis tournaments in the summer. Paddle definitely gives me a new outlet in the winter, and it’s a great community.
