Hut of the Month: Innis Arden Golf Club, Old Greenwich, CT

single-blog

A hut designed for viewing and relocating the courts closer to the main clubhouse was a game changer.

Location Transformation

Director of Racquets Corey Hubbard: I was here during the transition from old to new and it's been a real game changer. The club made the paddle hut a focal point.

Hot Ticket

Racquet Chair Stefanie Morin: The paddle hut is booked weeks and even months in advance on Friday and Saturday nights. It's a hot ticket.

The Look

A centered two-sided stone fireplace, triangular wooden beams, assorted comfy seating for about 30, plenty of standing room, five large picture windows in front and one on the side, a bar/kitchen area, and spacious outdoor decking with firepits.

Social Spot

Hubbard: It’s a first-class paddle facility for all players—beginners to highly skilled. It’s open to anyone who wants to come with their friends, get on the courts, and hang out.
